How To Use Root Rx

Oil seals in moisture. Always moisturize first.

Root Rx is a scalp and strand oil — not a leave-in, not a styler. It works best when your hair is already moisturized. Apply it to lock in what you've already given your hair, and to feed your scalp the botanicals it needs to grow.

01

Moisturize First

Apply your moisturizer to your hair as you normally would. Root Rx is an oil — oil seals in moisture. Skipping this step means you're sealing in dryness instead of hydration.

Any moisturizer works. Water-based is best.

02

Apply to the Scalp

Part your hair and apply Root Rx directly to the scalp. Use your fingertips to work it in with slow, circular motions. This stimulates blood flow and helps the botanicals absorb.

Focus on areas where you want to encourage growth.

03

Work Through the Strands

Run the oil through your strands from root to tip. This seals in your moisturizer, adds shine, and protects against breakage.

Start with 3–5 drops. Add more only if needed.

04

Target Problem Areas

Give extra attention to edges, dry ends, thinning spots, or any area you want to strengthen. Be intentional

Edges, temples, and the nape respond well to consistent attention.

Consistency is the product.

Root Rx works over time. The botanicals — castor, batana, bhringraj, rosemary — are cumulative. Use it regularly and give your hair the time it needs.
